Brief Job Description and Overview

We are looking for an experienced IT Director to oversee all IT functions in our company. You will be in charge of the company’s technology operations to include the implementation of new IT systems, policies and integration of IT platforms currently utilized by our strategic acquisitions.  The IT Director will be responsible and accountable for the smooth running of our computer systems within the limits of requirements, specifications, costs and timelines. You will supervise the implementation and maintenance of our company’s computing needs.

The candidate should have extensive experience in managing and engineering enterprise storage systems.

Responsibilities will include the Scripting, design, architecture, development, integration and full lifecycle product-ionization of new storage products and platforms to leverage technology to provide business solutions.

The engineer should have a strong foundation in infrastructure technology in order to build complex systems that will integrate seamlessly. Candidate should be hands-on and still be able to think engineering long term strategic solutions.

Responsibilities also include working with development teams to automate the orchestration, workflow and execution to manage the fill lifecycle of the product.

Strong scripting background is a prerequisite (Shell, bash, etc)

• Deep technical expertise with SAN storage solutions.

• Experience with capacity and performance management; configuration and provisioning management; event, fault management and problem management

• Experience in BCP/ DR / HA solutions

• Technical knowledge of Sun Solaris, Red Hat Linux, Windows, and VMware operating.

• Ability to integrate highly complex storage hardware and software systems.

• Strong analytical and creative problem solving / troubleshooting skills for design, creation and testing of complex storage systems.

• Good judgment to make tactical decisions and suggest long term storage strategies.

Dear Partners and Friends:

This is our fourth year of Operation Toy Drive. Thanks to last year’s generous support, we were able to provide toys to over one thousand children in 5 New York shelters and one hospital. This year, we plan to reach as many local shelters as we can. We personally go directly to the shelters and distribute the toys into the hands of the children. Our goal is to be able to provide each child with two gifts.

We are requesting new toys for children 0-18 years of age; lightly used items for infants are also acceptable. For the older children, we are requesting new clothes, girl’s accessories, gift sets, gift cards, sports and athletic toys such as basketballs, soccer balls and footballs. Please do not wrap the gifts.

The deadline for any form of donation is December 19th, 2014.

If you would like to volunteer time and/or resources, we need as much help as possible to be able to provide for these children that will more likely only receive these gifts for Christmas. We will be going into the shelters starting on Saturday December 20th through December 24th. If you are able to provide or assist with this service, it would be greatly appreciated!
